#Fidelia - Erika Winters Debuts Wedding Band Collection Revives Love, Loyalty and Romance

Engagement Ring Designer
Erika Winters Revives Love, Loyalty and Romance

Debuts ‘Fidelia’ Collection to Celebrate the Past in the Present Day*

If you think romance and chivalry are dead in the
21st century, prepare to have your hopes restored. Engagement ring designer Erika Winters has drawn inspiration from centuries past to reignite the romance in the modern woman’s world.

Debuting today, the Fidelia Collection consists of eight handcrafted, hand-etched and hand-carved bands, which are available in yellow, rose and white gold, as well as platinum. Several styles feature French-cut diamonds, a revival of an old cutting style, in which the stones are individually cut for each specific ring.

Ms. Winters took inspiration from the shapes and forms prominently featured in the medieval and Victorian eras, transforming them to feel modern in present day. Fidelia, derived from the Latin word meaning faithful, loyal and true, “defines the essence of marriage,” according to Ms. Winters.

The name of each band in the Fidelia Collection, such as Imogen, Viola and Cordelia, is inspired by historical literary characters, a personal passion of the designer’s.

To create a band as unique as your relationship, Ms. Winters offers customization, such as engraving of your secret messages. Worn as a single band paired with your engagement ring, or stacked to mark milestones in your life, the rings are destined to become heirlooms for generations to come.

The collection will be available through a network of independent retailers nationwide, as well as on the designer’s website, www.erikawinters.com. The Fidelia Collection ranges in price from $980 to $4,800 MSRP.

About Erika Winters: Erika’s jewelry career began by serendipity in 2006, when her future husband proposed to her with a diamond engagement ring. The ring—and everything it symbolized—inspired her full immersion in the artistry, meaning, and science of jewelry. This new passion built on Erika’s lifelong curiosity about the art of adornment and her extensive background and career in dance, movement, and theatre. These art forms continue to inform her jewelry designs, as she draws an appreciation of delicate lines and movement from dance and an appreciation for the nuances of lighting—and the impact of a grand entrance—from theatre. After earning her Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America,  Erika worked in the antique and vintage jewelry industry in Los Angeles. In 2014, Erika launched her first engagement ring collection, built on her passion for fresh and exquisitely crafted bridal jewelry. Her designs feature thoughtful revivals of Old World forms that have been re-imagined for 21st-century women.

Brumani's Brazilian Soul!

Brumani 2012 Collection

Brazilian Soul

Inspires Jewelry

Once again, Brumani continues to celebrate life and the beauty of Brazil through their new 2012 collections.

At the core of their jewelry,Brumani interprets the influence of the Brazilian soul, feminity, the exuberance of nature and the intersection of cultures. The Brazilian culture is one of many facets and colors with a certain 'savoir vivre,' which is often difficult to understand and explain--it must be experienced.

The Balalaika Collection is derived from the asymmetrical shapes of the stringed Balalaika instrument from Russian folklore. Comprised of black quartz and white and opaque quartz; the contrast between color and shape gives movement to the classic pieces.

The Nude Collection gives tribute to ethnic diversity with "nude" tones that vary from white, beige to rose and brown to black. Brumani interprets this through the combination of beautiful rose-gold, brown diamonds, rose opals, faceted morganites and cabochon cut from white cachalong.

The Celebration Collection is part of the "savoir vivre;" it means renewal, a new life and hope. The yellow and orange sapphires combined with white and brown diamonds mimic the colorful fireworks illuminating the skies of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro for the arrival of the New Year.

The Confetti & Streamers Collection is inspired by the tradition of how confetti and streamers have become part of the Brazilian spirit of commemorating the Carnival. This collection takes us through its sinuous and sensual forms with multicolored pink and yellow sapphires and rose quartz in delicate cuts.

The Panache Collection exudes exactly what it means; it's distinctive in stylish elegance and the mixture of white and brown diamonds with morganite and multicolored sapphires display the luxury connotations it evokes.

The Nude Glacial Collection expands on the Nude Collection by incorporating similar design and exploring the colors of the crystal blue water of Brazil by using blue topaz, striking turquoise, diamonds and sterling white pearls.

RMS Titanic Inc. Teams Up With QVC for 100th Anniversary Collection

RMS Titanic, Inc., a Subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions, Inc., is the Only Company Permitted by Law to Recover Objects From the Wreck Site of Titanic, Signs First Ever Deal With External Retail Partner to Replicate Artifacts

RMS Titanic, Inc., a subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions. Inc., a leading presenter of museum quality touring exhibitions around the world, announced today that the company will enter into a relationship with QVC(R), Inc., one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world. As the only company permitted by law to recover objects from the wreck site of Titanic, RMS Titanic, Inc. will work closely with QVC to design several Titanic-inspired products including jewelry, home goods, giftware and a fragrance, "Legacy 1912--Titanic.(TM)".

A Note About the Inspiration

Legacy 1912 is based upon the perfume oils developed by German-born chemist Adolphe Saalfeld. He was traveling first class on the Titanic to New York in hopes of developing a new line of perfumes in floral and citrus scents. He survived the sinking, but his 65 samples were lost. Recovered from 2-1/2 miles beneath the ocean's surface, many samples amazingly still contained their extraordinary perfumes.

RMS Titanic Inc.'s venture with QVC is the first external retail agreement the company has ever granted the rights to in terms of reproducing Titanic's artifacts or using them as inspiration for additional products.

"As we prepare for the 100th anniversary of Titanic's sole maiden voyage in April, it is a perfect time for RMS Titanic Inc. to create some one-of-a-kind products to commemorate this historic occasion," said Marcy Davis, SVP Retail/Licensing, Venue Operations and Strategic Partnerships. "Teaming up with QVC allows us to bring a little bit of Titanic to viewers nationwide."

Each of the products being sold by QVC will either be an exact replica of an item recovered from the wreck site of Titanic or will be inspired by a passenger's belonging. The full range of prices is covered in beautifully reproduced pieces from this White Topaz & Diamond Filigree Ring...

A Note About the Inspiration

This piece is based on a beautiful, handmade, platinum, 18K gold, and diamond ring that probably belonged to one of Titanic's first-class passengers. During the formal dinners onboard, this ring would've sparkled and danced with an inner fire in response to the glow of electric lights. The gallery design gives it a three-dimensional depth as it highlights the Edwardian love of jewelry in its imitation of lace.                                                             via QVC website

To a stunning reproduction of a First Class Cabin Key:   Sure to ignite conversation, this highly polished slide pendant--inspired by the RMS Titanic--displays a radiant key and a replicated first-class tag. Beautiful on its own, it also adds an element of history to your jewelry box. From the Titanic Collection.

A Note About the Inspiration

Titanic was a floating palace with a full complement of cabins, suites, provision stores, cabinets, and more. Each door had a lock and key. Much as in today's society, the stewards had keys to access the cabins so they could refresh or remove drinking water, flowers, and similar supplies and furnishings.                   via QVC website

The products are scheduled to debut on QVC April 6 at 8:00 PM (ET) as well as on QVC UK on April 10.

The U.S broadcast is scheduled to feature expert guest Alexandra Klingelhofer, vice president of collections for RMS Titanic, Inc. and the UK show will feature P.H. Nargeolet, director of underwater research for RMS Titanic Inc. Klingelhofer and Nargeolet will provide historical background and context on each product during the broadcasts.

RMS Titanic Inc. hosts six traveling Titanic exhibits, called Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, throughout the world as well as permanent exhibits in both Las Vegas and Orlando (visit rmstitanic.net for current venues). The Titanic inspired fragrance, "Legacy 1912--Titanic(TM)", and select jewelry and home items will also be sold at thetitanicstore.com as well as in various Titanic exhibit venues around the globe.

RMS Titanic, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions, Inc., is the only company permitted by law to recover objects from the wreck of Titanic. The Company was granted Salvor-In-Possession rights to the wreck of Titanic by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Norfolk Division in 1994 and has conducted eight research and recovery expeditions to Titanic recovering approximately 5,000 artifacts. The Company is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and also serves as a leading presenter of museum quality exhibitions throughout the world. As the recognized leader in developing and displaying unique exhibitions for education and entertainment the Company tours multiple experiences including the blockbuster "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition," now seen by more than 25 million worldwide. Twisted - Screwed - New From Erica Miller

With a passion for blending past and present together in beautiful balance, Erica Miller Designs introduces a signature new line of handcrafted jewelry with timeless, personalized appeal. The collection - including rings, bracelets, cuffs, pendants and earrings - comes in an array of sterling silver and 14k gold pieces, and features distinctive details like twisted wire, tiny screws, inspiring messages, crystals and gemstones.

Each jewelry piece is handcrafted, tumbled and hand-burnished for perfect shine and finish. In ordering many of the pieces, the purchaser can make the call about its features: an initial for a child, loved one, your own monogram or favorite gemstone makes the design special and completely your own. Some of the highlighted Erica Miller Designs which allow you to choose your own metals and vintage stones are: Luck Horseshoe Ring & Pendant ($115), Champagne Hope Ring ($240), Love Monogram Ring ($275), and the whimsical Wish Bracelet ($132). The Love Celebration Pendant, engraved with your desired year or initials, is the perfect keepsake - ideal for an anniversary present or a personal memento.

Adding a classic French twist to everyday jewelry staples, the Plaque de Muselet (champagne cap) designs are the collection favorite. Inspired by the twisted wire and cap on a champagne bottle, Erica created numerous pieces that feature this clever nod to the finer things in life - and each piece can even be customized with monogrammed initials or signs to reflect any moment in the wearer's life journey. With your one-of-a-kind custom touches, a piece from this collection becomes a truly unique reflection of personality and purpose.

Hailing from the Mile High City of Denver, Erica Miller infuses her love of family into all her works - from her first creation, a champagne cap and wire welded together by her husband to form a ring, to her daughter's fairy wand that influenced her Wish collection. Each of these and more are available for purchase on the website. Finding inspiration in the world and people around her, the designer uses everyday objects as the foundation of her craft, whether it's a champagne cap, screws out of her husband's tool closet, or her grandmother's antique wedding ring. The collection can also be found in select boutiques.
