Christie's New York Held Their Magnificent Jewels Auction Yesterday....

Just a few of the amazing pieces that went up for auction yesterday in the “Magnificent Jewels” Auction at Christies’s New York!

 

This stunning Padparascha Sapphire was definitely my favorite piece in the auction.

The sell through wasn’t as good for this auction as other recent events – I was surprised to see more than one David Webb piece that didn’t sell!  …and the photo below is just a small example of the colored diamond pieces that didn't sell!!!  note the SugarLoaf Ruby!!!!
