Mother-Daughter Styling Team Delivers A Fresh Look For #Rahaminov #Diamonds

from Press Release

RAHAMINOV DIAMONDS DEBUTS NEW AD CAMPAIGN IN ADVANCE OF JCK LAS VEGAS

A mother-daughters styling team delivers a fresh look for the family-entrenched brand’s latest effort

It’s a family affair at Rahaminov Diamonds. In advance of the brand’s upcoming exhibit at JCK Las Vegas, Rahaminov Diamonds has released select images from their new advertising campaign, which will formally debut in  May.

Styled completely by the women of the Rahaminov family at their Malibu home, the images reveal a fresher, younger take than previous campaigns, in line with the brand’s nod towards the next generation of jewelry buyers.

Selected from a casting of over thirty models, Keely King, represented by LA Models, is the face of the campaign.

We knew immediately she was the one,” shared Melanie Goldfiner, Director of Marketing for her family’s brand. “She is young, fresh-faced and representative of who we believe embodies the next generation of Rahaminov Diamond loyalists.”

Campaign images range from lifestyle to product-focused, and incorporate fashion and  everyday pieces, as well as the one-of- a-kind diamond-intensive masterpieces for which
the brand is known.

Nicol Goldfiner Barlev, the brand’s second-generation designer explains, “This campaign truly highlights the versatility of the collection, while still remaining true to the core aspects of our brand.” She continues, “From the everyday, wearable pieces, to the special occasion treasures, it shows that there is something for every stage of your life.”

The new campaign will debut in the May issue of JCK Magazine and will kick-off a print
and online presence to be featured in various trade publications through the end of the
year. There is also a dedicated social media campaign in the works. The new imagery will also be available to Rahaminov’s exclusive network of retailers for use in local market promotions this fall.

Gemmy Partnership - Columbia Gem House & Sapphires of Montana #TheDailyJewel

from a Press Release

Columbia Gem House
and Sapphires of Montana Unite

Merger aims to increase production and availability of Montana Sapphires.

Representatives from Columbia Gem House and Sapphires of Montana announced today that the two companies have united resulting in “Sapphires of Montana by Columbia Gem House”.

Columbia Gem House is the industry leader in Fair Trade and responsibly sourced gemstones with mine to market traceability, and is the largest supplier of gemstones mined in America.

As a vertically integrated company, Columbia Gem House also provides heating, cutting and US jewelry manufacturing to customers world-wide.

Sapphires of Montana’s expertise lies in the branding, marketing and sale of Rock Creek Montana Sapphires. The merger has come about to increase the production and availability of Montana Sapphires under the successful brand, “Sapphires of Montana”.

Columbia Gem House, a family business, was founded by Eric Braunwart 40 years ago and is known as the largest supplier of brand name gemstones. For the past 15 years, the company has focused on producing Fair Trade gems with a transparent supply chain from mine to market. Of the merger Eric said, “It’s a natural fit to bring in additional strength in sapphires of a Montana origin in a market that is growing almost faster than we can keep up.”
 Owned and operated by women,
Sapphires of Montana was founded by Lisa Brooks-Pike and Margo Bedman in 2012. After a successful sell-out show on QVC the company expanded its focus to supporting a clientele of young up-and-coming millennial and established independent designers.

“Since Sapphires of Montana was modeled on the Fair Trade, mine to market principals of Columbia Gem House, uniting the brands is a positive next step,” says Lisa.

“Our business ethics and ideals are in alignment,” says Margo, adding, “Merging the Sapphires of Montana brand with Columbia Gem House allows us to provide a sustainable supply of Montana Sapphires to the industry.”

In conjunction with the merger, Lisa Brooks-Pike, co-owner and VP of Sales and Marketing for Sapphires of Montana will continue with Columbia Gem House as Marketing Director. Clients are assured the same high level of customer service along with a larger selection and long term consistent supply of Montana Sapphires.

Missing Journalist Finds Her Way Home.... Bead & Design Show and MORE!!! #aflyonthewall #thedailyjewel

Yes - I'm still here - Sorry for the weeks of Silence.

What have I been up to?   well,  Saturday I went the the Bead & Design Show in Costa Mesa, CA!

I tend to attend local shows about every other year because they tend to have the same vendors - this one was a surprise - I found some new things that I haven't seen before and some gorgeous cut gems.

A full report should be up on my AFlyOnTheWall Views & Reviews Blog....but here's a little teaser..

These "halo'd" beads seemed to be a huge trend and is an easy way to get the micro pave look....

I fell hard for those Chrysoprase strands

This woman's coin pearls are some of the cleanest and most lustrous I've seen in awhile.

I need to find this vendor's name but this was extremely black labradorite - the vendor wasn't able to tell me
the source country, but the contrast is dramatic!

I LOVED this vendor - Joseph with The Good Medicine Shop - Moldavite, natural gems and some wonderful carvings

Carvings from The Good Medicine Shop....I WANT that two headed Dragon - they form a heart!!!

It seems we can't talk jewelry without talking tassels....Beads U Need had them!

This tassel (or bead) cap stopped me - very different from most I've seen .
It inspired me to try my hand at creating a hammered tassel cap...what do you think?

INSPIRATION SPARKLES FROM THEIR NEXT GENERATION’S INFLUENCE AT RAHAMINOV DIAMONDS

from a Press Release

THE NEXT GENERATION’S INFLUENCE
SPARKLES AT RAHAMINOV DIAMONDS

Inspiration from a younger generation provides modern take
on the family-entrenched brand’s storied classics

As the saying goes, the apple does not fall far from the tree. This is clearly demonstrated in the halls of Rahaminov Diamonds’ modern DTLA global headquarters. The brand will debut a collection of modernized classics at this weekend’s Centurion Show in Phoenix, Arizona. Comprised of chokers, stackable bangles, wearable hoops and on-trend minimized stud earrings, the new pieces are inline with the brand’s customary high quality diamonds and meticulous craftsmanship. Yet they exude a younger, more modern and edgy appeal than the brand’s tried and true staples, for which they are known.

A selection of pieces to debut at Centurion.

Nicol Goldfiner Barlev, the brand’s second-generation designer explains, “the new pieces
are still within the essence of Rahaminov, but they are designed with a younger clientele
in mind.”
She continues, “She is someone who understands the value and appreciates the
craftsmanship, but wants something slightly different from her mother when building her
own collection.”

Mrs. Goldfiner Barlev understands this new client, as she embodies her. Working side by
side with her mother, company co-founder, Tamara Rahaminov Goldfiner, the two
partner on developing and designing the brand’s latest offerings. It has been two years
since Nicol joined the family business, and her intuition and influence are now clearly on
display with this new collection.

Keeping within the family affair, Mrs. Goldfiner Barlev’s sister, Melanie, focuses on the
brand’s sales, and marketing, which will also be given a fresh direction with a new
advertising campaign to be shot this spring, debuting at JCK Las Vegas. “We recognize
the need to evolve the collection to meet the desires of a new generation of consumers,
while still remaining true to our brand,”
Melanie comments. From a merchandising
perspective, family dynamics will also be visible at the brand’s Centurion salon. “We will
be showcasing our classics, juxtaposed against the new modern versions, for a mother-
daughter retrospective type presentation,”
Ms. Goldfiner explains.

The latest collection offerings are the yield of a strong prior year, which included the
launch of the uber-achieving Movál collection and a successful retailer-marketing
program. “2016 was a stellar year for our brand,” shares Amir Goldfiner, the brand’s co-
founder. “We look to continue that success at Centurion with a sneak peek of the more
design-focused collection, to be fully presented at JCK Las Vegas in June.”
