JCK’s NEW Education Program to be
the “Talk” of the Town
JCK Las Vegas has unveiled its new Education Program for 2015—a revolutionary TED Talks-inspired concept. With the overarching theme of “Redesigning Retail” in mind, JCK Talks will seek to arm retailers with tools, insight, and information to succeed in the current era of retailing and prepare for the future. Featured speakers will include executives from HUB Spot, Edge Academy, De Beers, Adorn Insight, and Wheels Up.
The program will commence on Thursday May 28th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, one day prior to the start of JCK Las Vegas.
With long-standing industry champion Diane Warga-Arias serving as JCK Las Vegas’s Education Strategist, the program has been invigorated to address the underlying needs of the industry. The substance of the program has changed, consisting of seminars by an all-star line-up of retail leaders and lively panel discussions. The results are an education component that differs dramatically from years past. The new program consolidates speaking engagements and panels into a power packed day-long format that will take place one day ahead of the start of JCK. These Thursday sessions will be complimented by a handful of sessions Friday through Sunday including “Diamond Insights” presented by De Beers Chief Executive Philippe Mellier and Executive Vice President, Marketing, Stephen Lussier. The new date pattern will allow for a concentrated focus on the topics at hand and will not take away from business dealings once the show floor opens. The Talks will also live on jckonline.com, providing 24/7 access to the forward-thinking strategies, expert opinions, and personal success stories presented.
“The Talks model will infuse an inspirational, motivational tone that has proved so helpful to those looking to expand their knowledge, grow their business and achieve success,” said Warga-Arias. “It’s hearing the stories of others that motivate us to do our best work, and with topics such as “Multi-Channel Marketing for the Real World Retailer” and “The Retail Revolution”, there will be no shortage of useful tips to take away.”
